  My mother and I have recently moved to Carshalton, and we were looking for a new GP in the area. We looked in the NHS website to see which one was the best, as my mom needs to see a doctor regularly due to her thyroid. The reviews of this place were really convincing and really really positive. Well they did not reflect the reality. My mother has tried twice to register at this GP, and the second time she tried and brought all the evidence, she was told, in a very rude way, that she could not register as she was supposed to go to a nearer GP close to our house as this one was not covering our area. However, the first time she went there to check, they said she could register, even by telling them our postcode. We're foreigners so we still need to understand the medical system, so partly it can be our fault. However there are million other ways to explain and say things. I believe there is no need to be rude, especially to an individual, like my mother, whose English is not really good!! Very disappointed.
